WHAT IS SB COUNTY PLANNING?
The County of Santa Barbara intends to change the zoning of this property to allow for construction of 173 apartment units.
This high-density development would result in the following negative impacts:
Loss of irreplaceable agricultural land
Hundreds of new daily traffic trips to and from Bailard Avenue
No new park space = Crowding in existing parks
Noise & light pollution
Loss of parking
Water consumption increases
